Tools
Seriously, you should be using a browser with built-in gif, animated gif, jpeg, etc capabilities by now. If you're not - go get one! Either way there are some more tools you may need to aid and abet your LOUD experience.
RealPlayer
The RealPlayer by Progressive Networks is a groovy app for playing audio and video files - of which you will find lots in LOUD online! Find out all about it at www.real.com. You can also dig up Real Audio and Real Video encoders for MacOS and Windows so you can create files to upload into Noise.Quicktime
QuickTime is a multi-platform tool used to view or create synchronized graphics, sound, video, text and music. Get the quicktime plugin for Mac or Windows from quicktime.apple.com.VRML (.wrl files)
You may want to check out a VRML 3D environment - so you had best go get yourself a VRML plugin - try silicon graphics' Cosmoplayer or one of the plugins listed on Netscape's plug-ins page...(Note: Netscape 3 or above must be used for uploading files to the media submissions section of Noise, as Internet Explorer does not properly support http uploads.).
