| Nik Bagdon began using the web about
eighteen months ago. He soon decided to set up his own
page and was forced to learn HTML and graphics. Being an impoverished and an 'ethical' student he didn't have access to any commercial programs, so he downloaded Paint Shop Pro and started to teach myself how to use it. After about 6 months of learning, he produced the work Role Reversal (above). Nik has been helping other young people create homepages and has also been sitting in on some graphics lessons - learning from other artists. He wants to continue to produce digital art, and is hoping to enrol in the Communication Design course at the Queensland University of Technology in 1998.. |
