| In this photograph I was trying to portray the raw beauty and the equally beautiful alienation of youth and youth culture today - the light playing off the dark, radiance coupled with a darker, perhaps more sinister side. To me this photo is about soul, it's about being open, honest and just a little noisy. Harsh lines and softness together, strength and suppleness- the sort of dichotomy that is just perfectly youth. |
