| Are
you a budding or established filmmaker but can't
get your film on TV? In January 1998, The
LOUD Media Festival of Youth Culture and the Arts
has secured airtime for young filmmakers to
present their short films on television.
The LOUD
Televised Film Festival will showcase the next
generation of Australia's cinematic talent -
everything from drama to experimental work,
documentaries to animation.
Films chosen
for the festival will be shown on both
free-to-air and pay TV. As well as exposing their
work to hundreds of thousands of viewers around
the nation, filmmakers will also receive a
one-off licensing fee.
GUIDELINES
To be
eligible to be a part of the LOUD Televised Film
Festival the director of the film must be an
Australian citizen or resident and be 12 - 25
years of age at the time the film was completed.
The festival
is open to any short film (16mm or 35mm) or video
(screening copy must be broadcast quality video)
of up to 30 minutes in length, completed in the 2
years prior to the deadline date.
