Called LOUDSPEAKER, it will be about your life, your way of seeing of things - no celebrities, no hype - just the real world and what interests you about it.

Whether it's sex, surfing or cyberart, racism, your life in a country town or what really goes on at a rave, we want to know about it.

And we want it in any form - interviews, articles, drawings, unpublished lyrics, graffiti, poetry, fiction, jokes, essays, rants, advice, computer art, cartoons, photography, paintings, scripts, snapshots, scribbles. Whatever.

Just remember: LOUDSPEAKER is a one-off publication, a once-only chance to freely express yourself. So we really want you to go for it.

In other words, LOUDSPEAKER isn't just a magazine, it's an event - one among many under the banner of the LOUD Media Festival of Youth Culture and the Arts.

LOUDSPEAKER will be specially bound to the January 1998 issue of Juice magazine (on-sale mid-December 1997).

Guidelines:

Text submissions to LOUDSPEAKER should be sent on 3.5" disk, with a hard copy attached. (However, LOUDSPEAKER can handle typed or handwritten material.)

Photography can be b&w or colour prints, 35mm transparency or a polaroid – just don't send us negatives.

Note: Material won't be returned so please keep your own copies.

All material published in LOUDSPEAKER will be credited and paid for at industry rates.

The deadline Friday, September 19th, 1997 However, the earlier you can get material in, the better your chances of being published.

Note: Material submitted on disk will also be eligible for use in LOUD's online magazine, noise! All material used for noise! will be eligible for prizes to be announced closer to publication.
